Merry Christmas from the

Flywheels

Meeting stuff:

Okay, Short and Sweet here.

X-MAS PARTY is this coming Saturday at the Countryman! Dinners are being served from 5PM on. Sue asks that you call 503-873-1333 to make a reservation. This will make it easier for The Brotherhood, Wes and Bob to perform their duties as the nights entertainment!!

There will be a Chinese Gift exchange (?) Men bring a mans gifts and women bring a woman’s gift. Glenn may or may not be here to assist with the game of swapping, stealing, begging, etc. that goes with this game. But it should be fun.

Bob did Larry’s report on up coming events. Santa Cruise at Stayton Fire was picked as the Clubs run for Dec. It was Dec 3rd, sorry for not getting a letter out sooner. Oh well.

The Race Couch is now safely stored at D.W.’s place while Ron and his crew decide on what to do for next years race. Scary stuff coming from those boys.

Bob is all over the Portland Roadster Show sign-up. Last I heard was 17 cars with one to be featured in the Salem Car Councils display. We are going with a drive-in theme and lots of stuff is happening. Make sure to get a hold of Bob Noble if you wish to help, even if you are not displaying a vehicle. This is a Club Project. Lets ALL have some fun.

We had nominations for Club Officers and will open them up again at the December meeting. They are as follows:

Sgt of Arms:               Brian Littlefield

Public Relations:       Larry Brown

Sec/Treasurer:          Rand Breitbach

Vice President:         Bob Noble

President:                 Wes Oster

The Miller Brothers Crew showed up and discussed the fact that our MaCleay Cruise In will be 20 Years old in 2006. Lots of ideas were discussed from a camp out, vehicle give away, etc. So we need to start thinking of ideas, etc now so if we need to add them to our flyer we can.

Chief Lewis is back from Iraq and gave a short description of life over there and thanked the Club for all the support we gave to him and the Iraqi people. He hopes we as a Club can continue to assist.

Mike Miller again stepped up to get assistance with helping the less fortunate people in the community. We passed the hat and also gave him the Clubs half of the 50/50 money.

Want Ads, Good of the Order, etc.

Second Saturday @ The Silverton Super Service Station. This coming Saturday the 10th at 10 AM.

Al Dozler went back to the Air Force Museum and the Smithsonian

Hey, Bob lost one of his small radios at MaCleay, anyone know of its where abouts??

Frank McNatt knows of a 454 with auto for around $400.00. Call Frank at 503-873-728

Rand got his El Camino running, finally.

Oh, Bob Noble has a nice Mud Bog up at his place for you four wheelers, Just Kidding!! He is building a new shop and they have just finished the dig out for it.

Next Meeting is December 15th at the Countryman Public House. Usually they start around 7:30, but a lot of members, etc. drop in early for a bite to eat.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
